Professionals must operate with the highest level of integrity. This includes:

- Providing honest, realistic assessments of tax risks and potential audit triggers.
2. Client Confidentiality & Data Security
Tax data is highly sensitive. Professionals agree to:
- Never share, sell, or expose client financial data or Personal Identifiable Information (PII).
- Utilize Uncle Kam’s secure platform for document transfers rather than unencrypted email.
- Comply fully with IRS Publication 4557 (Safeguarding Taxpayer Data) in their own physical and digital workspaces.
3. Communication & Responsiveness

5. Fee Transparency & Fair Dealing

- Provide clear, upfront pricing before any work begins.
- Never charge hidden fees or surprise “hourly overages” without prior written consent.
- Deliver the exact scope of work promised in the engagement agreement.
6. Consequences for Violations
Uncle Kam enforces this Code of Conduct through our Client Protection Team. Violations are handled progressively:
Warning & Remediation
For minor communication delays or first-time policy violations.
Account Suspension
For repeated service complaints or missed deadlines.
Permanent Removal
For ethical breaches, IRS disciplinary action, tax fraud, or data security violations.
